Exploring the Technical Platform in Industrialized Housebuilding for Robust Product Architecture

Improved resource efficiency, in industry and throughout the product life cycle, is a challenge potentially, integrated production platforms can act as support. The aim of this study to explore current state technical platform two industrialized housebuilding (IHB) companies from mixed architecture perspective. part collaboration also involving three manufacturing one IT provider. research crossing borders by means interactive transdisciplinary engineering, more than 50 practitioners 13 researchers with competences management, engineering design, computational software development, testing, quality, sourcing, project management have been involved. Product introduced IHB better control architectures allow mass customization. Commonly, there for process management.
